01What is 75 Together?
75 Together is a partner-based challenge tracker built around the 75-day format. Each person completes the same daily rules, and you link with a partner so you can see each other's progress, send encouragement, and finish as a team.
The challenge is simple to describe and hard to do: complete six tasks every single day for 75 days. Miss a rule, and the day doesn't count. The app keeps your calendar, your streak, and — once you pair with someone — your joint streak.
✅Track
Check off your six daily tasks and watch your day, streak, and 75-day calendar fill in.
🤝Together

Some features are part of 75 Together Pro and show a Pro badge throughout this guide. The six core daily tasks, the calendar, and basic tracking are always free. See what Pro unlocks →
02Create your account
When you first open the app you'll land on the dark 75 / Together welcome screen. Choose how you'd like to sign in.
Your sign-in options
- Continue with Email — create an account with an email and password (at least 6 characters).
- Sign in with Apple — fastest on iPhone; no password to remember.
- Continue with Google — available on supported devices.
Sign up with email
- Tap Continue with Email, then Sign up.
- Enter your email, a password, and confirm the password.
- Tap Create Account. You'll go straight into setup.
There's no "forgot password" reset for email accounts yet. If you're worried about losing access, signing in with Apple or Google is the most reliable option — there's no password to forget. See the FAQ if you get locked out.
03Set up your challenge
The first time you sign in, the app walks you through four quick steps. You can change all of these later in Settings.
- Your name — this is how your partner will see you in the app (up to 30 characters).
- Container size — the daily water goal is 1 gallon (128 oz). Tell the app how big your water container is, and it works out how many refills that means per day.
- Start date — choose the day your 75-day challenge begins. You can pick today or a past date, but not a future one. The app shows you exactly when Day 75 lands.
- Diet — pick the eating style that guides your recipes and snack suggestions. You can switch anytime in Meals.
Choosing your container size well saves taps. A bigger bottle means fewer refills to log each day — a 32 oz bottle is 4 refills to hit a gallon; a 24 oz bottle is about 6.
04The 6 daily tasks
Your home base is the Track tab, on the Today view. It shows Day n of 75, your streak, and your task list. Tap a task to check it off. When every required task is done, the day is marked complete.

📸 Progress Photo Pro
A daily progress photo is a seventh, Pro-only task. Free members can do the six tasks above; the photo task shows an "unlock" badge until you upgrade.
A progress bar at the top shows how many tasks are done and your percentage. The header banner tracks three numbers: your current Streak, tasks Done, and tasks Left today.
05Logging water
Water is the one task you log in pieces. Each time you finish a container, tap the water task to add one.
- On the Today view, find Drink 1 Gallon of Water.
- Each time you finish your bottle, tap the row. You'll feel a small buzz and the progress bar fills.
- The row shows "{x} of {n} containers." When you hit your goal, you get a success buzz and the task completes.
The number of containers is based on the bottle size you set during setup. Change it anytime in Settings → Water.
06Progress photos Pro
Progress photos let you document your transformation. They are encrypted on your device before they're ever uploaded — no one but you (and a partner you explicitly share with) can see them.
- On the Today view, tap the Progress Photo task.
- Choose Take Photo or Choose from Library.
- Once set, tapping the task again lets you View, Retake, or Delete it.
Browse your whole timeline on the Pics view inside the Track tab. You can share a specific day's photo with your partner and view your two photos side by side.
Because photos are encrypted on your device, set up a recovery passphrase so you don't lose them when you switch phones. See Photo backup & privacy — this matters.
07Tracking your book
Reading 10 pages a day is one of the rules, and the app can track which book you're on and your page count.
- On Today, find the Track Current Book card and tap Add a Book.
- Search by title (powered by Open Library), or tap Add manually instead and type the title (author and page count are optional).
- As you read, tap Update Pages to record where you are. The card shows "Page X of Y · Z%."
- When you reach the end, tap Finish Book to log it. The card keeps a running count of books finished this challenge.
08Missing a day & restarts
75 Together follows the spirit of the challenge: if a rule isn't completed, the day fails and the challenge resets to Day 1. The app handles this for you and shows you exactly what happened.
If a rule was missed the day before, you'll see a reset notice on the Today view: "A rule wasn't completed yesterday. Both challenges have been reset to Day 1." It tells you which rule was missed.
Restarting on your own
If you're not paired with anyone, just tap Restart Challenge to begin again at Day 1.
Restarting with a partner
When you're paired, restarting takes both of you, so no one resets the other by accident:
- One person taps Request Restart.
- The partner sees "Your partner is ready to restart" and taps Confirm Restart (or "Not yet").
- The requester can Cancel Request any time before it's confirmed.
You can also reset deliberately — for a fresh attempt — from Settings → Challenge → Reset Challenge. Your history is preserved.
09The Track tab
The Track tab has five views, switched from the bar near the top.
Cal — your 75-day calendar
A heatmap of all 75 days. Tap any day to open its detail and see exactly which tasks you completed.
The five bottom tabs
10Weight & stats Pro
Logging your weight
- On the Track tab, switch to the Weight view.
- Pick the date with the stepper, type your weight, and tap Log.
- The banner shows Current / Change / Lowest, and a trend chart appears once you've logged at least two weigh-ins.
- To remove an entry, tap the × next to it in the history list and confirm.
Your weight data is private and encrypted.
Stats — comparing with your partner
The Stats view puts your progress next to your partner's: day counts, completion, and your joint streak.
11Milestones & the finish line
The app celebrates the long haul so you stay in it.
Milestone badges
You'll earn a badge at days 7, 14, 21, 30, 45, 60, and 75 — each with its own headline (Day 21 is "Three Weeks In," Day 75 is "You Did It"). Each badge pops once when you reach it.
Finishing together
When you finish Day 75 you'll see a "You finished Day 75!" banner. If you're paired, the app waits for your partner to finish too, then opens the Celebration screen — a side-by-side Your Transformation (Day 1 vs. Day 75 photos) and your completion badges.
Finishing the challenge together unlocks a reward: "Pro Unlocked — you've earned 12 months of 75 Together Pro, no charge." From there you can start another challenge.
12Choosing a diet
Your diet shapes your recipe library, meal plans, and snack suggestions. There are eight to choose from, and you can change anytime.
🥗 DASH
🫒 Mediterranean
🍗 High Protein
🥦 Vegetarian
🌱 Vegan
🥑 Keto
🍖 Paleo
🍳 Omnivore (Clean)
To change your diet: open the Meals tab and tap the diet badge in the header, or go to Settings → Diet → Change Diet.
13Calorie & macro calculator Pro
Set a daily calorie and macro target so your meal plans are built around your body and goal. Open it from the "Your calories" card in the Meals tab. You'll need to pick a diet first.
- Enter your sex, birth year, height, and weight (your latest weigh-in is filled in automatically).
- Choose your activity level (Sedentary → Very active).
- Choose your goal — Lose, Maintain, or Gain — and, for lose/gain, a weekly rate (0.5–2 lb/week).
- Tap Save. The result shows your daily calories and your protein/carb/fat split.
On keto? An extra "Net carbs / day" control appears (10 / 20 / 30 / 40 g, default 20 g) so your target respects your carb cap. If the app had to adjust your target to fit, it tells you why.
These numbers are estimates to guide planning, not medical advice. The app shows a nutrition disclaimer alongside your result.
14Meal plans & recipes Pro
The Meals tab is your kitchen. It has three sub-tabs: Guide, Plan, and Recipes.
Guide
An overview of your diet — its principles, your daily targets (servings, sodium, and so on), and practical tips.
Plan — your personalized week
The Plan view builds a day-by-day menu that aims to hit your calorie and macro target. Use the week selector (W1–W11) and day pills (D1–D75; today is marked) to browse.
- Each day shows Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks with servings and calories. Tap Recipe › to open the full recipe.
- Recipes that make extra say "makes 2 — cook once, save one."
- A totals card shows the day's calories and macros versus your target.
- Tap Export Week n Grocery List to share a combined, de-duplicated shopping list via your phone's share sheet.
No target set yet? You'll see a "Set up your calories" card that takes you to the calculator. Setting it makes the plan match your goal.
Recipes
Your full recipe library for the chosen diet. Filter by All / Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Quick / Meal Prep, then tap a card for ingredients, steps, and macros. Keto recipes also show net carbs.
15Prep & snacks Pro
Prep — the Sunday ritual
The Prep tab is a numbered, roughly 3-hour meal-prep checklist for the week ahead. Each step has a description, a "who" tag (handy when prepping with a partner), a time estimate, and sometimes a View Recipe › link. Check items off as you go; a progress bar tracks "{x}/{n} done."
Snacks
The Snacks tab is a diet-matched snack guide — pick 1–2 a day. Each snack lists its serving size and calorie count, with a few snack tips at the bottom.
16Linking a partner Pro
Pairing is the heart of "Together." Once linked, you each see the other's daily progress in real time and share a joint streak. Both people need Pro for partner sync.
Invite someone (generate a code)
- On the Track tab, in the partner section, tap Invite Partner.
- You'll get a 6-digit code and a QR code. The code is valid for 24 hours.
- Tap Share Code & Link to send an invite by message, or have your partner scan the QR code in person.
Accept an invite
- By code: on the Track tab, tap Have a code? and type the 6 digits.
- By link: open the invite link your partner sent. You'll see "{Name} invited you" — tap Accept Invite. If you're not signed in yet, create an account first and you'll be connected automatically afterward.
Codes expire after 24 hours, can only be used once, and you can't accept your own. If a code stops working, just generate a new one.
17Reacting & cheering
Once you're paired, your partner's task list appears on your Today view with the times they completed each task.
- Tap an emoji (🔥 ❤️ 💪 👏) under a task your partner finished to send a reaction.
- Tap Proud of you to send them an encouraging push notification.
- Your joint streak shows at the top of Today and on the Stats view.

🔔 Notifications
Turn on a daily reminder and pick the time.
🔐 Photo backup
Set up or recover your photo passphrase.
Daily reminder
- In Settings → Notifications, turn on Daily Reminder (grant the notification permission when asked).
- Set the Reminder Time with the steppers (30-minute increments).
If you previously denied notifications, the toggle sends you to your phone's Settings to enable them. The reminder reads: "Check off your tasks and keep the streak alive!"
Deleting your account
In Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all of your data. For security, you may be asked to sign out and back in first before it'll complete.
19Photo backup & privacy
Progress photos and weight data are encrypted on your device — strong privacy, but it means you hold the key. Set up backup so a new phone doesn't mean lost photos.
Set up a recovery passphrase
- Go to Settings → Photo backup → Set up recovery passphrase.
- Choose a strong passphrase — at least 4 random words, or 12+ characters. A strength meter guides you.
- Save it somewhere safe (a password manager is ideal).
Recover photos on a new phone
Sign in on the new device, then go to Photo backup → Recover with passphrase and enter it. You can also Change passphrase or Remove backup from the same screen.
A forgotten passphrase cannot be recovered. Without it (or your encryption key), encrypted photos are permanently unreadable. There is no reset — this is the trade-off for real privacy.
For security, progress photos are disabled on jailbroken or rooted devices. The rest of the app still works normally.
20Export & restore
You can take your data with you and move your encryption key between devices.
- Export Backup (JSON) — Settings → Data saves a file with your profile, all progress, weights, and photo key via the share sheet.
- Restore Encryption Key — paste your key or a backup file to decrypt photos on a new device.
- Share / Copy Key — Settings → Encryption key exports the raw photo key (an alternative to the passphrase for moving photos).
- Reset All Data — in the Danger Zone, wipes task history, weights, reactions, and photos (double-confirm; if paired, your partner confirms too).

22Frequently asked questions
Start typing to filter the questions below.
I forgot my email password. How do I get back in?
There isn't an in-app password reset for email accounts yet. If you originally signed in with Apple or Google, just use that button again — there's no password involved. If you used email and you're locked out, reach out to support for help recovering your account.
Going forward, the most reliable sign-in is Apple or Google, since there's nothing to forget.
What happens if I miss a task or a whole day?
If a required rule isn't completed, that day fails and the challenge resets to Day 1 — that's the nature of the 75-day challenge. The app shows a notice telling you which rule was missed, then lets you restart (solo with one tap, or with partner confirmation if you're paired). See Missing a day & restarts.
Why can't my partner see my progress?
Partner sync is a Pro feature, and both people need Pro. Check that you're actually paired in Settings → Partner, and that both accounts are subscribed. If one subscription lapsed, that side won't sync until it's restored.
Do both of us have to start on the same day?
You each set your own start date and progress through your own 75 days. Pairing links your progress and creates a joint streak; the celebration screen waits for both of you to reach Day 75.
How is the water goal calculated?
The goal is 1 gallon (128 oz) per day. The app divides that by your container size to get the number of refills to log. Tap the water task each time you finish a container. Change your bottle size in Settings → Water.
Are my photos and weight private?
Yes. Progress photos and weight data are encrypted on your device before anything is uploaded. Only you can read them — and a partner only if you explicitly share a specific photo. The trade-off: set up a recovery passphrase, because a lost key can't be recovered for you.
Will my photos move to a new phone automatically?
Only if you've set up a recovery passphrase (or saved your encryption key) beforehand. On the new phone, sign in and use Photo backup → Recover with passphrase, or Data → Restore Encryption Key. Without either, encrypted photos can't be opened on the new device.
Can I change my diet partway through?
Yes, anytime. Tap the diet badge in the Meals header, or go to Settings → Diet → Change Diet. Your recipes, plan, and snacks update to match.
Why are Meals, Weight, Stats, or Photos locked?
Those are Pro features. You can do the six core daily tasks and use the calendar for free; upgrade to unlock the rest. See 75 Together Pro.
I already paid but the app shows me as free.
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases, using the same Apple ID or Google account you purchased with. If pricing shows as unavailable, you may be offline or the store is temporarily unreachable — try again shortly.
How do I turn on daily reminders?
Settings → Notifications → turn on Daily Reminder and set a time. If you previously denied notifications, the toggle opens your phone's system settings so you can allow them.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. Task check-offs, water, and photos are saved locally and sync when you reconnect. You'll see an "Offline — changes will sync when reconnected" banner while you're offline.
How do I delete my account and data?
Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data. You may be asked to sign out and back in first for security.
No questions match that search.
23Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for the most common snags.
Water completes only after you've logged enough containers to reach a gallon. Keep tapping the row each time you finish a bottle until it reads "{n} of {n} containers." If your bottle size is off, fix it in Settings → Water.
Codes expire after 24 hours, work only once, and you can't accept your own. If you've tried many times you may be briefly rate-limited — wait an hour. The simplest fix: generate a fresh code and share it again.
Check your connection and try again. If "Continue with Google" says it's unavailable, that device may not support it — use email or Apple instead.
They can only transfer if you set up a recovery passphrase or saved your encryption key first. Use Photo backup → Recover with passphrase or Data → Restore Encryption Key. Without either, they can't be recovered.
Progress photos are a Pro feature, and they're disabled on jailbroken/rooted devices for security. On a standard device, upgrade to Pro to enable the photo task.
You may be offline — look for the offline banner. Changes are saved on your device and sync automatically when you're back online.
For security, deleting an account sometimes requires a recent sign-in. Sign out, sign back in, then try Delete Account again.
Make sure the Daily Reminder toggle is on in Notifications, and that notifications are allowed for the app in your phone's system settings. The toggle will send you there if permission was denied.
